CWShop Online

Terms

These Terms of Service apply to every purchase from this store and to every product you download from it. Please read them, together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and, if you buy managed hosting, the Managed Hosting Addendum, before you order. Last reviewed 5 October 2026.

1. Who we are

This store is operated by:

CWShop Online
Support: admin@cwfms.com

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean CWShop Online. “You” means the person or business placing the order and, where you buy for a business, that business (the “licensee”). If you buy for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. What you are buying

We sell digital software products, add-ons, bundles and optional services. Each product page describes what is included, the version, the technical requirements and, where available, a live demonstration. Review the product description, requirements and demo before you buy. A bundle is a set of separate product licences sold together at one price, and each product’s licence applies to that product.

3. Licence grant

Unless a product page says otherwise, a purchase gives the licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence (subject to section 5) to:

  • install and run the product on one production installation for the licensee’s own business, plus reasonable development, staging and backup copies of that same installation;
  • read and modify the source code we deliver, solely to adapt that installation to the licensee’s own needs; and
  • let employees and contractors work on that installation, provided they use it only for the licensee and keep the code confidential.

The licence is a licence to use, not a sale of the software or of our intellectual property. We and our licensors keep all ownership of the product, its source code and its documentation, including any modified version you create from our code (as to the parts that come from us). If you install a product for a client, the client must hold its own licence unless we agree otherwise in writing; ask us about reseller and multi-site licensing before you do.

4. Source code and what you may not do with it

We deliver source code so you can host, audit and adapt the product. That is a licence under these Terms, not an open-source licence. You must not, and must not let anyone else:

  • resell, rent, lend, sublicense, publish, upload to a public or shared code repository, or otherwise distribute the product or its source code, in whole or in part, in original or modified form;
  • share, publish or sell your licence key, or use one licence on more installations than it covers;
  • copy components, tables, designs or code from the product into another product that you or others sell, distribute or host for third parties, or use the product to build or train a competing software product or service;
  • remove or alter licence, copyright, attribution or ownership notices;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to derive source code, algorithms or keys from any part of the product that we deliver in compiled, encoded, obfuscated or otherwise protected form, or from our licence-verification service; or
  • disable, bypass, spoof or tamper with licence validation, download controls or any other technical protection measure.

Third-party components included in a product stay under their own licences, which we identify in the product files or documentation where required. Where the law gives you a right that these restrictions cannot lawfully remove (for example, a statutory right to decompile for interoperability), that right is unaffected.

5. Licence verification, suspension and termination

Some products check their licence with our servers. When a product does this, we receive the licence key, a product identifier, the domain or address it runs on, the date and time of the check and the IP address of the request. We use this to confirm that the key is valid, to apply the installation limit and to protect against misuse; see the Privacy Policy. The first domain that verifies a key may be recorded against it.

We may suspend or revoke a licence key, and the licence it represents, if you materially breach sections 3 or 4, if a payment is reversed, refunded or charged back, or if we are required to by law. We will tell you why and, where the breach can be fixed, give you a reasonable chance to fix it first. If a licence ends, you must stop using the product and delete copies of the source code, except records you must keep by law. Termination does not affect rights that arose before it.

6. Prices, currency and taxes

Prices are shown in USD. The price you pay is the total shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Any applicable taxes or payment-provider charges are shown before you place the order, where required. Sale prices apply only while they are displayed, and a bundle saving shown on the site is calculated from the current prices of the products in the bundle. You are responsible for any taxes, duties or bank or currency-conversion charges that apply in your own country and are not shown at checkout.

7. Ordering and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We confirm your order only when the payment provider confirms your payment (or, for manual payment, when we confirm receipt). We may decline or cancel an order, for example where payment fails, where the information you supply is false or where we suspect fraud, and we will refund any amount taken for an order we cancel. You enter card and account details with the payment provider you choose; we do not store full card numbers.

At checkout you must tick a box to confirm that you accept these Terms and the Refund Policy and that you understand the digital-delivery limits. A second, separate and optional box lets you opt in to promotional email. You can buy without ticking the optional box.

8. Digital delivery and download access

Products are delivered digitally. Once payment is confirmed, your download links and any licence keys appear on your order page (the link in your order email) and in your customer account if you have one. The download limits that currently apply are:

  • Download access: 7 days from the date your payment is confirmed
  • Up to 5 downloads per purchased item
  • Your order page and customer account show your downloads and licence keys while access remains available
  • Need a fresh link? Contact support with your order ID

We show these limits before you buy, at checkout, on your order page and in your order email. If a link has expired or the limit has been reached and you still need the files, contact us with your order ID. Keep your order email and your own copy of the files and keys. Licence keys are shown on the order page after payment, so copy them when they appear.

9. Self-hosting and technical requirements

Our products run on infrastructure you choose and control. Each product lists its requirements (for example PHP version and hosting type), and you must check that your hosting meets them before you buy. You are responsible for your hosting, server configuration, SSL, backups, access control, security updates, the data you store, and compliance with the laws that apply to your business and to the personal data of your own customers. We do not have access to your installation or your data unless you give us access to help with support. See also the Disclaimer.

10. Updates and support

Product pages state the version you are buying. Where we release updates within that version line, you can re-download them from your order page while download access remains available. We provide reasonable help with installing and using products you have purchased through the contact form or admin@cwfms.com. Support does not include custom development, hosting administration, data migration or third-party services unless we agree otherwise in writing. Support responses are targets, not guarantees.

11. Refunds and cancellations

Because digital products can be downloaded immediately, our Refund Policy sets out when we correct a problem, replace a file or refund. In short, a purchase is refundable on a change of mind only until you first download the file, and in the cases listed in that policy afterwards. Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy limits any right you have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Optional managed hosting

Where we offer it, managed hosting is a separate, optional service. It is governed by the Managed Hosting Addendum and the hosting terms you accept at checkout, and you must accept them before you add hosting. It does not change the licence of the software you buy, and ending hosting does not end that licence.

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • give false, fraudulent or misleading information at checkout or in a support request;
  • initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, or in bad faith;
  • use automated tools to scrape, attack or stress-test this store;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the store, its customers’ data or its licence and download systems; or
  • use the software or this store in breach of any applicable law.

14. Third-party services

Some products and checkout options depend on third-party services, such as payment providers, email delivery or hosting control panels. Their providers run them under their own terms, and they may change or become unavailable independently of us.

15. Intellectual property and feedback

Product names, logos and branding are ours or our licensors’. If you send us suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve our products without obligation to you. You keep ownership of your own data and content in your installation.

16. Warranty and liability

We supply the software as described on its product page and as set out in the Disclaimer. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the software. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud and your statutory consumer rights.

17. Your responsibility for your use

You are responsible for how you configure and use the software, including any financial, tax, payroll, invoicing or point-of-sale outputs it produces. You agree to compensate us for losses we suffer because you breach sections 3, 4 or 13, to the extent the law permits.

18. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, contact us first with your order ID so we can try to put it right. These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live. Disputes we cannot settle informally go to the courts of Jamaica, unless mandatory law gives you the right to use the courts where you live. You may also seek redress through the consumer-protection authority that applies to you (in Jamaica, the Consumer Affairs Commission).

19. General

These Terms, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer and any hosting terms you accept make up the whole agreement between us about your purchase. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. You may not transfer your licence to anyone else unless you sell your whole business and we agree in writing. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. Neither of us is liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

20. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version published on this page when you place your order applies to that order, and we record the version you agreed to against your order. Material changes apply only to orders placed after the change.

21. Contact

Questions about these Terms: admin@cwfms.com or the contact form.
